Dear BTNHOA Members,
As you may have read in The Dallas Morning News, there has been an increase in crime throughout the city. Unfortunately we are not immune as we had an attempted robbery on Spyglass just a few weeks ago. Fortunately our police patrol caught the culprit but never the less, we don't want a repeat.
Without pointing fingers, I am sure that you have also noticed an increase in roofers, remodelers, and lawn and pool tradesmen. Often these businesses hire day workers to augment their regular employees with the result that we have unknown people all around us.
During our meeting this past Tuesday, your Board of Directors agreed to augment our police presence by adding patrols at various times and on various days as a highly visible deterrent to possible criminal activities. These officers will begin their patrol this coming week and we have specifically directed that they will roam the neighborhood and not just park somewhere.
As always, neighborhood security is our primary concern, so if you see suspicious activity, please call 911 and then let our officers know. Thank you for being a member of the association and please remember to renew your membership. The membership form will be in the next newsletter which you will receive the first week of June.
