Happy June, Bent Tree North Residents!
Here are our updates regarding Membership! Thanks for checking in!
- Our membership drive is up and going strong! We began at the end of March to accommodate the beginning of our fiscal year, which is June 1. This helps us set the budget for our crucial expenses. We now have 377 members who have renewed or joined for the first time. It’s always great to see our previous members continue supporting the neighborhood, and how special that we have 25 new members, so far! We still need more paying members to meet our budget for 2025/2026!
- Many of you have been reaching out to those who have not renewed or joined, and we appreciate your assistance. Please speak with your neighbors and friends that you know in the BTN community, to encourage them to pay their membership dues and become active with our planned events.
- Our Neighborhood Ambassadors have been helpful in assisting with our membership drive. We value their involvement and always enjoy having more people offer to join us with this group. It takes very little time.
- We are focusing on welcoming new residents in the neighborhood who have recently moved in. We want to share the benefits of living in Bent Tree North and encourage them to meet their neighbors. Please let us know of new residents on your street. We have Welcome Packets that highlight information about our security, landscaping, social events, and current events that impact our community.
- I hope you have been noticing all the 2025/2026 green HOA stickers that are appearing throughout the neighborhood on the mailboxes. When you renew for this next year, you receive a sticker that signifies two important things:
- You are supporting our Bent Tree North community!
- You are eligible, as a paid HOA member, to have additional drive-by and surveillance each day you are out of town, by our ENP officers. Upon your return, you will receive a log/list of dates and times when an officer visited your residence. To submit Your Out of Town Log request, CLICK HERE.
- As you see from the Treasurer’s Report, for the FY 25/26 year, we have received $177K in dues from the 377 members who have joined for this year. We need 450. To know who are members, click here for the MEMBERS DIRECTORY.
- So, we are significantly short in terms of revenue. To put it in perspective, currently we can fund the ENP patrol only through December 2025. Again, if you haven’t joined, please do so now!
- To the FY 24/25 members who have not yet renewed, which are about 65 residents, we really appreciate your past support, and we really hope you will join this year. There is a 90-day grace period of access to the secure sections of the website – primarily Security. We will be changing the ENP phone number in September and will communicate that to members who are current as of that date. Also, to vote at the Annual Meeting in September, your dues must be paid as a FY 25/26 member.
- Your Board members work diligently to keep this neighborhood safe, secure, and beautiful. Please help us in our efforts to gain more members so the costs are shared among all our residents. Our membership fee of $525 has not increased in the last year, and our dues are far below many of the residential communities surrounding us. To pay your dues, CLICK HERE.
We value your participation in our HOA! Please offer any comments to us, as we always look to improve!
Best wishes for a terrific summer!
