FLOCK SECURITY SYSTEM
In addition to the Enhanced Neighborhood Patrol (ENP), the HOA Board has installed Flock security cameras at each of the four main entrances to the neighborhood. These devices are designed to capture license plate data of vehicles entering Bent Tree North.

The cameras operate 24 hours a day, providing continuous monitoring of vehicular traffic.
The captured footage is securely stored in the Flock database for a period of 30 days.
This technology not only aids in tracking and identifying vehicles but also serves as a valuable investigative tool should any incidents occur.
The camera footage is not actively monitored. Rather, the Board of Directors can check, or assign access to, the stored footage in order to review complaints of illegal activity, criminal incidents, etc.
Flock’s cameras see like a detective, capturing actionable evidence and making it readily available when a crime occurs.
Flock software makes that evidence easily searchable by vehicle type, make, model, color, timeframe, and plate details. This includes vehicles with no plates, temporary plates, dirty/covered plates, and accurate state detection.
The HOA Board has also granted access to the Dallas Police Department, allowing the North Central Substation officers to receive alerts when vehicles associated with crimes, sex offenders, or missing persons enter our neighborhood.
This camera security system, in addition to the ENP, has given Bent Tree North significant security measures aimed at keeping our neighborhood one of the top ten safest in Dallas.
