The United States marked its 250th anniversary-often called the Semiquincentennial-on July 4th, 2026, celebrating 250 years since the adoption of the United States Declaration of Independence!  Bent Tree North Celebrating with its annual Parade showing a wonderful display of patriotism, friendship, and neighborhood pride.  Families lines the streets waving American flags as decorated bicycles, golf cars, wagon and classic cars made their way through. Parade goers lined up to cool off on snow cones.  There were free hotdogs, and lots of other goodies to munch on.
